Vikings Stadium Resolution

As committed as the Vikings are to bringing a Super Bowl championship to the fans and to the State, the franchise is equally devoted to securing a long-term home for the team in Minnesota. The Vikings are one of the few remaining NFL franchises without a stadium solution, but the team is collaborating with the State Legislature, the Governor and local leaders to resolve this issue. With just 20 games remaining in the Metrodome after the 2009 season and a lease set to expire following the 2011 season, the Vikings have stepped up their dialogue with State leaders. While current economic conditions present a challenge, those conversations are set to continue this fall in order to find a solution during the 2010 Legislative Session.
